INSURANCE CLAIM ROOF REPLACEMENT PROCESS

Step 1 : Schedule a Free Inspection with Mountain Top Construction

Inspection Includes:
• Free Roof and Exterior Inspection
• Documentation of any areas with damage or concern
• Discuss insurance coverage, insurance inspection and settlement process.

Step 2 : Contact your Insurance Company

• Schedule an inspection with a claims adjuster in reference to storm damage.
• We will meet your claims adjuster at the scheduled date and time, and provide them with our detailed estimate.
• Our goal is to make it as easy as possible for your claims adjuster to approve your roof replacement.

Step 3 : Insurance Settlement Receipt

• After the inspection, we will provide a Loss Summary Report, listing your damages to be covered by insurance.
• You will receive a settlement check from your insurance company for all/or portion of the replacement costs.

Step 4 : Roof Replacement

• Material order and building permits will be issued prior to construction.
• We will explain the installation process with you and keep you up to date with our installation schedule.
• Mountain Top Construction ensures that proper code guidelines and safety standards are followed.

Step 5 : Finalization

• Upon completion we will notify your insurance company to release the remaining balance of the settlement.
• We will discuss the final insurance payment process with you, and invoice you for the balance of the settlement
• Your insurance company will send a final check for the remaining balance. You will send us a copy of the final check, the final insurance paperwork and the balance of the insurance settlement.
